Where to stay during the wedding
We recommend 7-10 days for your stay in Mauritius.
Accommodation choices vary between hotel resort stays and airbnbs/villas. Each have their own pros and cons.
Airbnb/Villa pros: private pool, good price, variety of locations, better for large groups
Airbnb cons/Villa: might not have daily cleaning, need a car / taxis to get around, have to arrange food daily (restos / takeaway / cooking)
Hotel resort pros: daily cleaning, ease, beach, pool, restaurants on site, private beach to relax
Hotel resort cons: slightly more expensive
In summary, it’s really up to you and the type of holiday you want. Hotel brings comfort and ease, guaranteed good food and a clean room, airbnb is better for large groups and you get your own space at a better rate. Just make sure you’re in the north / north east for the wedding days so it's easier to travel in between.
If you’re staying for 7-10 days, consider splitting it up, either two hotel stays or airbnb / hotel, or stick it out for the full stretch in the same hotel.
Pease please check in with us if you’re unsure, we’re happy to help you find a place!
The wedding ceremony & reception will be held here. It's a good option for the wedding as you can easily get back to your room for a rest between morning ceremony and evening reception, and go straight to bed after!
However, April is high season so there's a minimum 4-night stay. But we are currently discussing reduced prices for our guests. Please let Shikha or Mo know if you're interested in booking here and we'll let you know how to book ASAP.
